Pharmaniaga, a leading Malaysian supplier of medicinal products to the private and public markets, is interested in arranging deliveries to Malaysia of the new Flu-M influenza vaccine produced by SPbSRIVS.
The Pharmaniaga official delegation headed by Shamsinar Haji Shaari, the Technical Director, visited the SPbSRIVS production site on July 4–5. In the two-day negotiations, the parties discussed the issues of arranging the supplies of the new Russian Flu-M vaccine to Malaysia and Indonesia, as well as the Malaysian project for a local vaccine production facility that would comply with the Shariah laws (Halal-certified products).
“We are ready to provide technological assistance to our partners in implementation of this exciting project. Considering our experience in launching the immunobiological production in Nicaragua (Instituto MECHNIKOV), we are confident of implementing such a project and vaccine technology transfer to Malaysia,” said Victor Trukhin, the Director of the SPbSRIVS FMBA.
