On June 8, 2019, FSUE SPbSRIVS FMBA received a high-level Venezuelan delegation consisting of Deputy Minister of Health of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela Gerardo Raul Briceño Alvarez, Deputy Minister for Europe of the Ministry of People's Power for Foreign Affairs of Venezuela Ivan Eduardo Gil Pinto, President of Espromed Bio Hanina Maria Colmenares Sarmiento and Director of Bilateral Cooperation of the Ministry of People's Power for Health of Venezuela Yusmar Maria Carillo Garcia.
The delegation arrived at the talks on the instruction of the President of Venezuela aiming to find a reliable supplier of influenza vaccine. The Venezuelan party declared that the Russian Federation is becoming the main supplier of goods and services to Venezuela and the government is now pursuing the course of making Russia the main partner in all areas. In the future, SPbSRIVS is supposed to satisfy all the needs of Venezuela for influenza vaccine.
